Nature amazes me...

Good morning lovees! It's another beautiful day! Tho the weather may not be stellar, be thankful for another day!  I know I am.

Ever drive through the mountains? Beautiful aren't they? How bout the beach? Ever been there? Breathtaking isn't it? Nature amazes me. It's beauty and splendor overwhelm me. First, it reminds me of what an incredible artist our God is. The tapestry he has painted for us to admire daily is just...well...  AMAZING!! But then, I think about how it relates to life...

Let's first look at the mountains. They're big and beautiful. Majestic and full of splendor. But what lies in between each mountain? A valley. Ever been in the valley? The valley of life? I know I have been! Sometimes I feel as though I've taken up permanent residence. But then, I look up and see the beauty of that mountain and think, I must climb! I must put on my boots and harness myself and start climbing that mountain again! And I do. I may end up right back down in that Valley, but by God I'm gonna try to stay focused on climbing. I'm gonna try not to allow fear to sway me from my journey! Because I've been on the mountain top before and I know the beauty that lies there. Though the valley may teach lessons, lessons I need so that I may grow, I much prefer the beauty from the top.

Now, let's look at the beach. Oh how beautiful it is! The waves that crash along the shore. Each wave controlled by His hand. The sand so warm and soft on your feet. It's so peaceful. Life is like this. Life comes in waves. Sometimes great big scary ones. Sometimes little bitty baby ones. As each wave crashes, we can choose to let it drown us, or we can climb on the surfboard of life and ride those beautiful waves! Allowing each one to teach us a lesson! Allowing each wave to carry something to or away from us.

Maybe you're stuck in a valley today and need help climbing that mountain. Maybe you're stuck between waves, fearful of what may hit next. Know this, you're not alone. We've all been there. Some of us are still there. Never be afraid to reach out. There's someone with a lifeline waiting to help...

Have a blessed day friends!!!

Love and hugs...
