Friendship

Good afternoon lovees!

What a gorgeous day!! I so enjoy fall! But I've mentioned that before. 😊

Today, I want to talk about friendship. The Bible says that we are to show ourselves friendly. It also says that a friend loveth at all times. There is nothing better than the comfort of a good friend. A good friend can be your soft place to land in the midst of trials. A good friend can be an encouragement on days that seem too long. A good friend can be the laughter you need at the end of a long day. A good friend can be the pillar of strength you need when yours is almost gone. A good friend can be the mirror you need when you're not sure of who you are. (OR when you dont know what to wear...lol!!) A good friend is a prized possession to be cherished at all times.

Sometimes in life,  we connect with people who become such amazing friends that it's like we've known them forever. But other times, there are people who show themselves friendly, but it's a facade. Be careful!! Not everyone who shows themselves friendly are meant to be your forever friend. And not everyone that you tell your secrets to is trustworthy.

Today, show yourself friendly to others! Be that friend so many are looking for. But above all, be kind, be loving, be a blessing!!

Flawed...

Good morning lovees!!!

It's such a gorgeous day today!!! So glad to put yday to bed and be given a fresh new day!

Today, I want to talk about flaws..can I do that? Too bad...lol!! You see, I was having this conversation with someone the other day about being flawed. This person misunderstood and thought I must be downing myaelf. That couldn't be further from the truth. What I meant was this...I have flaws. Silly flaws, big flaws, crazy flaws. We all have them. Here's a few examples...I purr in my sleep, don't laugh, it's a thing! Lol!  For some folks, that's....well...annoying!! I'm guilty of talking too much sometimes. I can also be quite insecure at times. As you can see, I listed a few different kinds of flaws. None of which are horrible, but they're mine and I own them. Now, what's my point in all of this? We all have flaws. Period. We need to learn to accept one another's flaws, and love each other in spite of them. Love, love, love!! We cannot show unconditional love to someone if all we see are their flaws!!

Go out today and spread love. Look past the exterior, look past all of the flaws you might see, and just show some love!! Then, tell them!! Show them!! Love is a verb, not a noun! Have a blessed day friends!!
