For every action there's a reaction...

Good morning lovees!! Another amazing day upon us!! If you woke up today, be thankful. Every day above ground is a good one!

Question...at what point does one have to take responsibility for their actions?? I believe this is something instilled in us as young children...or it should be. You, and only you are responsible for your own actions. We all make decisions in our lives. Each and every decision in your life puts you on a path that will affect the rest of your life. We are free to make our own decisions, we're just not free from the consequences of those decisions. If you lie, cheat, steal...those have negative consequences. If you abuse, anything or anyone, there are negative consequences. If you neglect any area of your life, there are negative consequences. For every action, there is a reaction.

Today, make sure that you are making the best decisions for your life. You only get one!! And as I've said a million times, it can all be gone in the blink of an eye!

No judgments...

Good morning lovees!! Another blessed day ahead of us! Below is a post that pooled up as a memory from fb. Thought it was worth the share...

Big hair, big mouth, BIG personality, big assets, must be a big b****, right? Not necessarily! All too often, we judge someone solely on their exterior. Perhaps it is because we are intimidated by them because we don't look like they do. Perhaps, we think of them as unfriendly because we have this preconceived notion that anyone who dresses nicely and is well put together must be a snob. Perhaps, we feel inferior because we have this idea that their clothing/jewelry/etc is expensive and thus they must be of a certain status and we feel they would never want to associate with someone like us. Or, we could go the other way with this and say that we might look down on someone because we don't feel they would have anything in common with us, so we just overlook them.  Either way, we have so many, many ideas about people before they ever open their mouths to us and it's just wrong! If we would just stop looking at the exterior, and try to get a glimpse at their interior, i.e., their souls, we might see the one thing we missed...a BIG heart!!! The Bible says to "judge not...", that isn't just referrring to someone's actions. When we judge someone without truly getting to know them, we pass up an oppty at a potentially great friendship/relationship!

Instead of judging, let's start getting to know people, we might just be surprised by how much we have in common! And who knows we may make a few new friends!!!

Self confidence...

Good morning lovees!!! Another beautiful day above ground! Thank you Jesus!!

Today, I want to talk about self love and self confidence. I, as you know, have been working on me. I'm nowhere near where I need to be, but have come a long way!! There was a time in my life, not so long ago, I let some things wear on my self esteem. I let life get to me. Since making some major life changes, I've worked hard on me. And you know what, I'm DANG proud!! Not only am I proud of my progress, I'm proud of every inch of my body. Proud of every bruise. Proud of every stretch mark. Proud of every freckle. Proud of every mark. Proud of every scar. I am proud of all of it! And, I'm embracing it all! I won't let anyone or anything tear me down again. I don't ever want to sound conceited, and always want to stay humble.

You my beautiful friends have this same power inside of you! You have the power in you to not only make any changes you feel necessary, but to be confident in who you are! To be confident in the body you have. Stand naked in front of the mirror one day and just take a look. Maybe you have a surgery scar...look at it, touch it, feel it. Then, thank God you made it through whatever surgery it was that you had. Maybe you have stretch marks from having babies...thank God for those precious babies and be proud that your body carried those babies. Maybe you have some extra weight you want to get rid of...thank God that you had food  to eat and didn't go hungry. You see, if you change your perspective, you can learn to love you...all of you!! Work on whatever you need to work on, but remember this...YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!!

Good morning lovees!!

Such a great day...it's Monday! The start of a new week...the opportunity for a fresh start! Leave the "stuff" from last week behind and look ahead to what this new week might bring.

I was listening to music yday...my favorite therapy! An old Martina Mcbride song came on. A line in the song spoke to me...
You can love someone with all your heart, for all the right reasons
And in a moment they can choose to walk away ... love em anyway.

I myself am a lover by nature. I can tell a perfect stranger I love them. And I mean it. I truly do love people. I love people just as a friend. I love people as super close best friends forever. I love people as relatives. I love people as a lover. I love people, period. Sometimes, it's hard to love people. Love them anyway. Sometimes, people don't deserve the love you give. Love them anyway. Sometimes, you risk them walking away. Love them anyway. Sometimes we lose those we love, love them anyway. Love is the greatest gift we can give someone. And guess what, it's free!

I know, I speak on love all the time. But that's because I believe wholeheartedly that it is the one thing in life that can truly impact another individual more so than anything else!! My love may be misconstrued, misunderstood, or misread. But I will ALWAYS choose love.

Choose love today friends. This being the holiday season, we should show love even more!! We don't know how many people we will run into today and everyday who could use a little love...
