Good morning lovees!! Punxsutawney Phil seems to have seen his shadow again!! Listening to the radio, they said he's only right 39% of the time! So. We've got that going for us! And of course, it got me to thinking...about trust!
Trust is defined in the dictionary as a reliance on the integrity, strength, surety, ability, etc of a person or thing, confidence. Trust is an important part of ANY and all relationships! Trust is vital, period. Throughout my life I've learned the value of trust. I've been betrayed and know that once it is broken, it can never truly be fully recovered.
On the flipside, trust is Also a beautiful thing. Once you have someone's trust, you have earned an incredible privilege! I count it as such whenever I am entrusted with someone's most intimate secrets. I know how incredibly difficult it is at times for some to open up about their life. How hard it is to tell someone something that others have judged you for your whole life. To share such things takes courage and trust. Kudos to you for having the courage to open up.
When someone trusts you, value that. Honor that. Cherish that. You have been given an amazing privilege. Thank them for trusting you. Thank them for opening up to you.
